Creative Capital Inc. (CCI) is a founder of the structured settlement industry and has over 35 years of experience employing creative strategies to assist our attorney clients to achieve better settlements. CCI’s expertise includes assisting counsel in P/I cases of all types; wrongful conviction and incarceration cases; CPLR 50-A & 50-B strategies in NY; structured tax deferred attorneys’ fees; lien resolution and Medicare Set Aside allocation (via our affiliate, Precision Resolution); Supplemental Needs Trusts and Government Benefits Law (via our panel of legal experts). Partnering with clients, our skilled professional team provides a wide array of services to craft innovative solutions with advantages for your client.
Founded in 1980 (and incorporated in 1981) by a trial lawyer (Martin Jacobson), a financial planner (Jeffry Borow) and a benefits specialist (Dennis Waldman), CCI combined these diverse disciplines into a comprehensive structured settlement operation.
During its first three years Creative Capital was primarily a Metropolitan New York structured settlement firm. In 1983 CCI added its first branch office and expanded into a regional operation. By the late 1980's a nationwide operation was in place.
In 2011, Creative Capital was voted the Best Structured Settlement Broker in the New York Law Journal Reader Rankings and has held this distinction for seven straight years. In addition to this award, CCI was recently named the Best Structured Settlement Provider by the National Law Journal and entered into the Hall of Fame for the Connecticut Law Tribune and the New Jersey Law Journal in the category of Best Structured Settlement Broker.
CCI is NYSTLA’s Skyline Partner for Justice, a new and higher category than the former Platinum level which CCI held exclusively for many years; a Gold Level Partner of CTLA; a Gold Level & Litigation Group Sponsor of AAJ; and a Sponsor of NJAJ and the NY Academy of Trial Lawyers.
CCI is headquartered in East Brunswick, New Jersey and is a founding member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA).
