Jeffry
S. Borow, President, has more than 30 years of combined experience in
the Life and P&C insurance industry. Jeff is one of the nation's leading
structured settlement producers using both annuities and treasury bonds. Jeff's
heavy financial planning background, combined with his insurance and claims
experience, greatly enhances his skills in negotiating structured settlements.
Martin
Jacobson, Vice President and General Counsel, is a licensed attorney
in New York and New Jersey with extensive trial experience in both the state
and federal courts. Prior to going into the private practice of law in 1976,
he did defense work with the New York City Corporation Counsel's Office. Subsequently,
Marty was a partner in a Wall Street area law firm in New York City. Marty is
a renowned lecturer on structured settlements and periodic judgments and regularly
presents seminars to the bench, bar association groups, law firms, casualty
companies and self-insureds. Marty negotiates structured settlements for Creative
Capital's clients and is an expert on the subject of periodic judgments. CV
Dennis
H. Waldman, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, is the financial
officer of the company. Dennis is responsible for the organizational and administrative
functioning of the company and the general coordination of activities among
the nationwide offices and the Home Office. Dennis handles some of Creative
Capital's largest cases and routinely negotiates structured settlements at court
conferences and in mediation.

Morris
Lener, CSA, joined Creative Capital in February 1993. He graduated from
Kean College of New Jersey with a B.S. degree in business management. Prior
to joining Creative Capital, Morris had over seven years of supervisory accounting
experience, working for Richard Ellis, Inc., a real estate investment firm,
Johnston Equipment Company and The Howard Marlboro Group, both manufacturers.
Using his accounting, financial and computer skills for Creative Capital, Morris
quickly grew to become a successful case negotiator and designer of sophisticated
proposals and spreadsheets that are both informative and helpful in the settlement
of cases. In addition, Morris has acquired particular expertise in the area
of Periodic Judgments under New York Civil Practice Law and Rules Articles 50-A
and 50-B. Using comprehensive worksheets and knowledge of CPLR Articles 50-A
and 50-B, Morris has participated in numerous settlement conferences and seminars
for clients throughout the New York Metropolitan area. In September of 1999,
Morris became of member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, a group
dedicated to serving the ever increasing senior citizen sector. He is a licensed
life and health insurance agent.
Laurie
B. Cohen, Paralegal, joined Creative Capital in July, 1995. She graduated
with a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany in 1973 and pursued
a Paralegal Certification in 1974. Laurie completed her Paralegal Certification
from Adelphi University in 1974 and relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. While
in Boston, Laurie was employed by the law firm of Hale & Dorr. In 1976,
Laurie relocated back to New York and was employed by Cahill Gordon & Reindel,
a large Wall Street firm. In joining Creative Capital in 1995, Laurie brought
a great deal of legal and work experience to enhance Creative Capital's team.
Laurie, under the supervision of Martin Jacobson, Creative Capital's General
Counsel, handles a case from beginning to end once a settlement is agreed upon.
All settlement documents are prepared by her, she communicates with both plaintiff
and defense attorneys regarding the settlement documents, requests and handles
premium submissions to the life companies and she liaises with the life companies
in order to see the case to completion. Any inquiries regarding matters after
the annuity contract is issued are also handled by Laurie. Laurie is in charge
of the licensing for Creative Capital and all Home Office producers.
Creative Capital - United Kingdom Office
Norman
Turner is the President of Creative Capital's overseas office in England.
The office acts as a liaison to the London Insurance Market. Creative Capital's
association with Norman dates back to January 1990 at which time he began to
establish a firm foothold in the London Insurance Market. Norman had been involved
in financial planning for twenty years and ran his own business for ten of these.
As a result of his involvement, Creative Capital has successfully concluded
a large number of structured settlements on behalf of the London Market.
Creative Capital Regional Offices
Jamie
M. Adams, CSSC, is Regional Vice President for Creative Capital, Inc. He
splits his time between his Houston, TX and Las Vegas, NV offices. Jamie comes
from a financial background of Investment Banking where he has spent over 25
years dealing in the Debt Capital Markets specializing in
Mortgage Backed Securities. With over 10 years of experience in negotiating and
providing specialized training in Structured Settlements as well as financial
planning he is now recognized as one of the most knowledgeable consultants in
the emerging tax deferred Structured Sales area.
Jamie is a National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Registered
Representative (Series 3, 63, 7 & 24), holds a Group One Insurance licenses (TX
# 972483) in multiple states and is directly appointed agent for all A+ rated
Life markets providing structured settlement/sales annuities. He is also a
licensed real estate agent in Nevada.
Jamie is an affiliate member of the Houston Mariner's Club (HMC), the Greater
Houston Society for Risk Managers (GHSRM) the Commercial Marketing Group (CMG),
the Certified Commercial Investment Managers (CCIM) and other various trade organizations.
Ben
A. Goff, MBA, CCE and Teresa
L. Goff are Regional Vice Presidents of the Creative Capital Inc. Brentwood,
Tennessee office. Ben has been in the finance and insurance industry for over
22 years providing consulting, financial analysis, and management expertise
to the industry. He has an MBA from Oklahoma City University and a BS from Oklahoma
State University. Teresa has significant experience in property and casualty
insurance as office and marketing manager of an independent commercial insurance
agency. The Goff’s founded Advocate Capital, Inc. which is one of the
most successful litigation finance companies in existence. They bring a unique
blend of analytical and negotiating expertise to the structured settlement process.
Richard
Goldstein, Manlius, New York was a successful John Hancock Life Insurance
Agent and Financial Planner in Hancock's Syracuse, New York office prior to
joining the Creative Capital team as its Upstate and Western New York representative
in 1983. He has been with Creative Capital since that time and has approximately
20 years of structured settlement experience, all of which is concentrated in
New York State. His extensive experience and skills in structured settlement
claims include areas such as creative quote design, negotiation and mediation.
In addition to his extensive experience in the general structured settlement
area, Rich has developed a strong specialization in New York State's Periodic
Judgment Statutes under CPLR Articles 50-A and 50-B. Rich has been very successful
in handling some of Creative Capital's major accounts in the Upstate New York
region. Acting for and in conjunction with the Assistant Attorney General staff
of the New York State Department of Law - Attorney General's Office, Rich has
handled some of New York State's largest claims. He is well known by many of
the Upstate New York judges and is regularly referred to as "Doctor Goldstein"
by some of them because of his reputation as a true specialist knowledgeable
in the complexities of CPLR Articles 50-A and 50-B, the Periodic Judgment Statutes.
Steven
Harris is Regional Vice President of CCI’s Minneapolis, Minnesota
office. With over a decade of working with law firms and large insurance companies
as a senior account executive, his experience includes complex structured settlement
cases. His clients have included individual plaintiffs, medical malpractice
funds, casualty insurance companies, self-insured companies, municipalities,
counties and states. Educated at the University of Wisconsin and the University
of Minnesota, Steve is Series 6 licensed and brings a strong financial background
and a creative approach to structured settlements.
Gary
McMickle, Grapevine, Texas - Gary McMickle, over the past 33 years,
has been involved in over $3,000,000,000.00 in personal injury settlements.
He has been active in creating and negotiating settlements involving structured
settlements since the mid 1970's.
Gary has personally placed in excess of $400,000,000.00 in structured
settlement annuity premium. He has extensive experience in evaluating life care
plans for quadriplegic, paraplegic and brain damage cases. He has testified
as an expert witness on numerous occasions.
Mr. McMickle anchors the Creative Capital office in Dallas/Ft.
Worth, Texas, which he originated in 1992. Prior to joining Creative Capital
he operated the Dallas/Ft. Worth office for Ringler Associates which he opened
in 1984. From 1977-84 Mr. McMickle was Assistant Vice President of Claims for
Scor Reinsurance Company in their home office in Dallas. From 1974-77, he worked
in the home office for Foremost Insurance Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan
where he was Divisional Claims Superintendent of Surplus Lines Claims. Mr. McMickle
started his career in 1968 with Liberty Mutual Insurance, working in East Orange
& Saddle Brook, New Jersey; Kansas City & St. Louis, Missouri; and Detroit,
Michigan. A graduate of the College of Emporia in 1968, Gary holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Business Administration.
Gregory P. Seal CFP®,
MBA®, CIMC®, CIMA® is Regional Vice President of Creative
Capital’s Denver Office and founder of Seal Financial Services,
Inc. and C-Hall Corporation (both established in 1985). Both
firms were based on the principle of helping individuals and
families find solutions to lifestyle changes affecting
multi-generational wealth. Mr. Seal’s career is characterized by
over 20 years of helping clients with special needs including
financial planning, estate planning and investment management
for those individuals affected by catastrophic injuries. Finding
solutions in which structured settlements are an important part
addresses the complex interweaving of both financial and health
care issues and assists in the design of customized solutions,
facilitating a team approach by working with other professionals
involved in a client’s life.
Mr. Seal earned his MBA from Regis College in Denver and his
undergraduate degree from Westminster College, Salt Lake City,
Utah. He is a Certified Financial Planner licensee, a member of
the Institute for Certified Investment Management Consultants, a
Certified Investment Management Consultant and a Certified
Investment Management Analyst. Seal Financial Services, Inc. is
a Registered Investment Advisor with the Federal Securities and
Exchange Commission. Mr. Seal is active on several community
Boards of Directors, including the Elder Law Institute Advisory
Board and the Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities. He is
a Past President of the Financial Planning Association of
Colorado. Mr. Seal is the author of The Guide for Heirs and
Survivors (1996) and co-author of Making the Money Last.
Max
WernickandKen
Wernick, New City, New York are a father and son team within the Creative
Capital organization. Max Wernick, Regional Vice President, was employed by
Cosmopolitan Mutual Insurance Company from June, 1961 until May, 1976 as an
examiner, claims manager and officer of the claims and legal departments of
the company. In that capacity Max handled thousands of claims in his fifteen
years with Cosmo. He also developed a reputation as a tough but fair negotiator
with plaintiff attorneys, some of whom have developed into today's "heavy
hitters". These attorneys know and respect his capabilities and the fact
that he will not give away the store when acting for the defense. At Cosmo,
Max handled auto, GL, construction and almost every type of claim except medical
malpractice. In 1976, he joined a P&C brokerage firm with a life division
and worked in the financial services arena specializing in financial and estate
planning. In 1981, he founded his own structured settlement company, Max Wernick
Associates Inc., which merged into Creative Capital Inc. in 1989. Max is one
of Creative Capital's most seasoned professionals and is well known in claims
and defense circles and among the plaintiffs' bar.
