Over the years Creative Capital has been involved in some "high profile" cases and has assisted the parties and the courts in finding solutions. For example, Creative Capital acted as consultant to the court appointed Special Master in the Agent Orange settlement and to the defense team in the Piper Alpha/North Sea Oil Rig Disaster, respectively. Creative Capital also placed all settlement annuities at the request of the court and the Special Master in the L'Ambiance Plaza Building Collapse Case in Bridgeport, Connecticut. L'Ambiance was one of the single largest mass disaster global structured settlements in American History.

Creative Capital also assisted the parties to a major class action Age Discrimination suit styled E.E.O.C. v. Consolidated Edison Company. This case involved 136 charging parties. Con Ed offered a multi million dollar settlement which was rejected by the E.E.O.C. Creative Capital was then called in to help. We devised an acceptable solution and the case settled. The sum previously offered and rejected was divided between an up front cash payment and the purchase of annuities structured to provide enhanced pension benefits to each of the charging parties. The case was thus settled without any additional cost to Con Ed. Creative Capital settled the case, did all the paperwork and set up systems to service the recipients on an ongoing basis.
